Hi,
I am one of many people here waiting for the date to be able to apply for I-485 because of visa retrogression. I have 3 more H-1 years so I am considering changing a job in category EB2 so the process can be faster (my PD is Jan 2004 with approved I-140). My question is whether this position below can be considered in EB2 or not. To my knowledge on Eb2, it must be more than 5 years experience with BS or MS. I have a MS, but my work experience in US is total 4 years 4 months (intern 10 months in US during MS + 11 months with OPT after MS + 2yrs6months with H-1B).
This is just a part of the job description:
- BS Degree plus 3-5 Yrs experience or MS Degree plus 2 Yrs experience.

And dont forget that teacher's H1 also comes under the cap. You would need to get interviewed for a position and get an offer before April 1st, so that application can be received at USCIS on April 1st.

Is it safe to say that if your GC applying company does NOT revoke I-140 after you change jobs, that you are OK not to tell USCIS about your change ?

I just read about someone in San Fernando who killed his family and himself because he didn't have a job.
Please reach out to your friends in times of difficulty....the world is not going to end if you don't have a job OR if you there are delays in getting your GC..the world is a wonderful place and still full of opportunity - to add value, to help others etc...you may need to reach out to your friends for help to find your calling or the next opportunity....please don't be desperate....and please ask for help. we all have so many things to be happy and thankful for...

I am on EAD with my GC sponsor, 485 pending - PD Dec2006. I was a Sr.QA Analyst while my Labor was filed. Those job responsibilities were submitted in labor along with generic titles like programmer analyst etc.
Now that I have planned a technology change, I am moving into SAP BI. As it is getting tough to get contract positions and lot of FTE opportunities. I am wondering what my options are. Having said that I am also anticipating my PD to be current in july/aug/sep 2011.
I was told by my employer that I could temporarily resign , take a FT with another company and join back within 6 months.
During this time they would continue with my green process.
In this situation while I am very close ( 6-9 months) for my PD to be current, what are my best options?
1. AC21 - get it all done with new company ? Job title from Sr.Qa to SAP BI would it be a problem?
2. Temporary resignation and rejoining - is it really feasible?
3. Stay with current company - try for contract positions even if it means that I have to stay long on bench. I have been already out since Aug.

What happens if your I-485 is denied? Are you able to fix any issues or do you start all over? And on what grounds would they deny?

Do not worry I was in similar situation last year and my ex employer was from NJ.. I Complained to DOL and they made him to pay me...
Regarding the experience letter ... I saw in other forums that you can get experience letter from your colleques or Peers who worked with you...

I had no problem in my H1B.
Here in these discussions I see many people asking to go to the best lawyers for greencards etc.
Does anybody know about this law firm, and your experiences please. Do you recommend I can be safe with them.

My I140 and 485 were filed in Dec'2006. I got my I140 approval notice (email alert from USCIS) last week.
